Pregnancy and Postnatal Myotherapy

While pregnancy pain and other pregnancy symptoms are very common, you do not have to go through them without relief.

Myotherapy treatment by a qualified pregnancy-trained myotherapist is safe for both mother and growing baby, and can be a valuable tool for pregnant women seeking pain relief from the physical strains of pregnancy and their transition to motherhood.

As your body is in a constant state of rapid physical change, assessing and treating accordingly will allow you to enjoy and embrace a comfortable pregnancy and beyond. The benefits of myotherapy during the perinatal period include pain relief, improved circulation (which aids in reducing swelling) and stress reduction.

We believe in taking a holistic approach to managing your pain. This means looking at the body as a whole and considering numerous contributing factors, including occupation, diet and exercise, sleep quality, prior injuries, and mental health.

Always consult with your primary healthcare provider before starting any new therapy during pregnancy to ensure it aligns with your individual needs and circumstances.
